Quiet Bite
Terms of use
These terms set the ground rules for using Quiet Bite, including its optional Plus subscription.
Last updated 7 August 2026Using Quiet Bite
These terms govern your use of Quiet Bite. By using the app, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes.
A coping tool, not treatment
Quiet Bite provides general coping and self-awareness exercises. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or medication advice. It is not a substitute for a qualified clinician who knows your circumstances.
Do not rely on Quiet Bite in an emergency. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service now.
Accounts and acceptable use
An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to your email or sign-in provider secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account is being misused.
You may not interfere with the app or API, bypass access or purchase controls, probe for vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, upload unlawful content, impersonate someone else, or use Quiet Bite in a way that harms others.
Quiet Bite Plus
The core interventions remain available without payment. Optional Plus subscriptions unlock the features described on the purchase screen.
The current planned prices are US$5.99 monthly or US$39.99 annually; your store shows the actual localized price before purchase. The annual plan may include a 14-day free trial when the store confirms you are eligible. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, a subscription renews automatically and the store charges your payment method. You can cancel in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Quiet Bite account does not cancel a store subscription.
Trials, refunds, billing, and eligibility are administered by Apple or Google under their rules. Restore Purchases is available for supported prior purchases. We may change future prices or features with notice where required, but changes do not override the price and terms shown by the store for your transaction.
Your content and privacy
You keep ownership of notes and other content you create. You give Quiet Bite only the limited permission needed to store, sync, process, and return content when you choose those features.
Our Privacy Notice explains what information is processed and the controls available to you. Do not enter another person’s sensitive information without their permission.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Quiet Bite reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Narration, sync, reminders, and purchases can depend on networks and third-party services. The silent, text-based core exercises are designed to remain usable when narration is unavailable.
We may improve, suspend, or discontinue features. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will provide notice or a remedy where law requires it.
Intellectual property
Quiet Bite’s software, design, name, artwork, narration, and original content are owned by Quiet Bite or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Quiet Bite is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will meet every need or produce a particular health outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Quiet Bite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the app. Local consumer law may give you additional rights and may limit this clause.
Ending use and changes to these terms
You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access for serious misuse or legal and security reasons. Provisions that naturally continue, including ownership and lawful limitations of liability, survive termination.
We may update these terms. We will identify the updated date and provide notice before material changes take effect when required. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
